A gaming console is a device which produces a visual image or display image so that one or more can play a game.

In the market, we have different gaming consoles which give the user a new experience in playing the games. The most popular gaming consoles are:

• Nintendo: Nintendo is the most popular gaming company which is popular for creating the most successful games like Mario and Pokemon. The first game was a playing card game released in 1973 which is not quite popular and not the official one too. The Nintendo's 1st official game was 10-Yard Fight released in 1986.
  
  
  
• Sony's Play station: Play Station is created and owned by Sony. The first Play Station was released in 1994. Play Station is a very popular handheld game console and its latest release was PS4.

Game Testing | How to write a bug report in Game testing

Hey guys, 

        Today I want to give a clear picture on how to write a bug report in game testing. I know everyone is passionate about playing games, but dunno how to write a bug report if you find a bug in the game.

Writing a Game Bug Report

Title: Give a good title where the developer can easily understand where the bug is present.

Platform: Mention in which Operating System and in which device the bug is produced.

Actual Result: Give a step by step detail description about where the bug is produced. Check each and every detail of the game(background music, characters overlapping, Incorrect score, etc).

Expected Result: Tell the developer about what the actual result i.e; the way the developer wants the game to be.

The severity of the bug: Give under which category the bug will fall into like high, low, medium severity.

Sample Bug Report

Here, I am going to write a bug report which I have observed in the popular game Candy Crush Saga, So you guys can clearly understand.

Title: In the Candy Crush game regarding the number of lives.

Platform: I have this bug in the Android Operating System in Samsung mobile device.

Actual Result: After the user ends with all the lives, the game should not produce any lives. But in the game, we will see the lives have been over and show 0 but whenever we open and try to play any level even if the game lives shows 0.

Expected Result: The expected result is whenever the user has completed with all the 5 lives and shows 0, the user should not be able to play any level in the game.

The severity of the bug: According to the bug I observed, I can say the severity of the bug is high.
